Ricardo Aguilar is a passionate individual who has been serving youth in a professional capacity for his entire adult life. He's local to the Bay Area, and though he was an imperfect high school student, Ricardo found his passion in education. He attended Evergreen Valley College then San Jose State University (SJSU), where he graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a Minor in Mexican American Studies.

He is now in Graduate School at SJSU to pursue his passions and support his work in the nonprofit space. He spent two years working with Americorps in a middle school in Oakland and in an after-school setting in Redwood City. 

In the second semester of the 2023-2024 school year, Ricardo became the DreamCatchers Site Director for both JLS and Fletcher Middle Schools. His professional passion is fueled by his own experience as a student, and he hopes to encourage DreamCatchers students to develop healthy habits in academics and in life.
