Terry Connelly, J.D.
Terry Connelly has been involved in pro bono service to educational institutions at all levels throughout his over four decades as a Wall Street lawyer, international investment banking executive, strategy consultant, business school dean, writer, and even occasionally a grad school adjunct. His two youngest daughters have attended Palo Alto public schools from K through12th grade, and he became attracted to DreamCatchers through friendship with another Gunn High parent and member of the DreamCatchers team.
Since retiring from his deanship, Terry has been working as an advisor to several non-profit CEO’s, and values highly the opportunity to continue his commitment to advancing educational opportunities especially for economically disadvantaged children, recalling the many acts of generosity that enabled his own schooling and subsequent career.
Terry is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The Catholic University of America with a BA in Politics, and holds a JD from NYU School of Law, where he was a Root-Tilden Scholar and Articles Editor of the Law Review. He currently serves as President of the Board of the Cardiac Therapy Foundation here in Palo Alto, and Vice Chair of the Board of the Public Religion Research Institute, a policy polling think-tank in Washington, D.C.
