Tracy brings over 25 years of business experience that includes corporate executive management, consulting and starting a non-profit. Much of her business background is in Business Development/Product Development/Marketing. In 2008 she co-founded the Palo Alto Elite Volleyball Club, a non-profit youth sports club that has grown to accommodate hundreds of young players, from elementary-aged recreational players to competitive high school athletes. The club has become a vital part of the Peninsula community and offers scholarships to those in need. For the last 15 years Tracy has been intimately involved in the Palo Alto Unified School District at both the individual school site and district-wide levels. She has been chosen to represent the community on a number of district committees, including the Facilities Master Plan and the Community Advisory and School Needs Committee. Tracy also served as a co-chair of the highly successful 2010 Measure A – Parcel Tax Campaign.
Tracy joined the DreamCatchers board primarily because she is passionate about providing academic opportunities to those where access is compromised due to the challenges of life circumstances. She believes that a singular positive experience can alter paths taken and offer potential opportunities towards becoming a responsible, responsive, resourceful citizen.
